Legacy University, Okija, Anambra State is one of the eight private universities recently approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria with the view of increasing access to university education to all qualified individuals in the country promote quality tertiary education and engage in relevant research for national development Located in serene environment in Okija, Anambra State, the new university seeks to build a legacy of excellence in learning and research. Responsibilities
- The University librarian is the Head of the University library and is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the administration of the University Library and coordination of Library services in the University.
Requirements
- Good honors degree plus MLS/MLIS and Ph.D in Library Science or Library and Information Science and must have at least 12 years cognate experience in an academic or research library.
- He/she must be computer literate and must have evidence of substantial contribution to knowledge through scholarly publications in verifiable journal
