IITA seeks suitable Nigerian for the position below at the Institutes Headquarters, Ibadan:
Job Title: Water Treatment Operator
Ref:IITA-HR-NRS2017-009
Location: Ibadan
Recruitment Type: National (3-year renewable contract)
Responsibilities
- Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Carry out operation and maintenance of water treatment plant, swimming pool plant, sewage treatment plant and dam pumping stations;
- Dose chemicals for processing of water and waste water;
- Clean water treatment plants, swimming pool plants, sewage plant, pump stations and its surroundings;
- Take hourly reading and record it in operation production sheet;
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor;
Requirements
- OND/Trade Test I/Artisan Certificate in Mechanical Engineering with at least Three (3) years relevant experience
Competencies:
- Ideal Candidate must:
- Have good interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Be able to run shift duty.
