Job Title: Bid Researchers

Description

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will have primary responsibility for information gathering and quality control.

The major responsibilities/Job Desciption for the position include but not limited to:

1.) Scouts the websites, newspapers in print or online for valid and available bid opportunities from Public sector Organizations, Health Sector Organizations, Health Sector, School Boards all across Nigeria
  • He/ She will be responsible for gathering all information (new bid, addendum, bid result, award) on a timeIy manner from websites assigned to him/ her and input same into the BolyNG system
  • He/ She will Ensure that bids posted follow a uniform template based on BofyNG a bid publishing standards
  • He/ She will ensure that all links to the bid source are accurate
2.) Validate and post bids pulled and generated through Auto download
  • He/ She will ensure that all generated bids from auto download are pasted at the end of any given day and report glitches noted to IT
3.) Perform customer service duties to buyer
  • He/She will assist and provide buyers a walk through in posting their bids on BolfyNG Attend to buyer calls Provide active partners with updates on the latest features added
  • Create a buyer account and validate & activate buyer registration
4.) Prospect new buyers
  • He/She will Scout the organisations in all sectors and the internet for new buyers with procurement presence accross Nigeria and add them to the pool of website already visited and disseminate the information to the rest of the team
5.) Approve Bids / Announcements/ Award

6.) Maintain Various reports Assigned
  • Bids statistics
  • Subscribe from PSo's
  • Buyers Masterlist
  • List of Partners on the main page
  • Buyer with landing and reference pages
  • Awards created by buyers etc
7.) Re-post technical issues / glitches as it occurs to IT

8.) Perform bidmatching of bids according to schedule assigned

Qualification and Requirements
  • Relevant educational qualifications,
  • 1 - 2 years of outbound call center and/or Tech support experiences preferred
  • Excellent customer service/sales skills, drive and resourcefulness
  • Proactive approach to customers and a sale focused attitude
  • A Detailed oriented, Quick Learner and Self motivated individual
  • Multi task Ability,
  • Strong computer skill including MS Office and Outlook experience
