Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinates with all concerned and ensures overall progress of the projects engineering elements for successful integration of new facilities or modification of existing ones to ensure achievement of project objectives and continuity of oil & gas production in JV Assets Fields.
  • Ensures all piping/mechanical, electrical/instrumentation, civil/structural, process/safety, pre-commissioning/commissioning, etc, detail engineering documents produced within ECP and by engineering contractors for ECP Construction Dept projects are of good quality and are line with TEPNG applicable standards, specifications and rules.
  • Participate in the preparation of work-scopes, tender packages, work programmes and procedures.
  • Follow-up Engineering Contractors for the execution of Detail Engineering of the projects.
  • Develop and maintain ECP Construction Dept procedures and QA/QC tools.
  • Checks and approves detail engineering deliverables received within ECP Construction Dept and ensures they are done in line with JV Asset approved Job Requests.
  • Ensure that Contractors submit all engineering deliverables & As-Built documents on time and ensure correctness.
  • Ensures and promotes cost-saving solutions in the Construction & Site Installation procedures, including promotion of alternatives for to optimize onshore and offshore works.
  • Prepare Weekly Report with key events, progress, concerns and mitigating actions.
  • Liaise with ECP Commissioning Leader and ensures that Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning documents are properly done & and in good time to avoid undue delays during facilities handover to JV Assets.
  • Ensures that any deviations from the TOTAL referential are identified, reported and appropriate actions taken in the implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with TEPNG & TOTAL HSEQ regulations and Specifications for all Construction Dept projects.
  • Carry out any other duties that may be assigned by Mgr ECP Construction Dept
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas production industry (or equivalent), 2 of which must have been spent in operations, with experience in Engineering & Commissioning activities.
  • Good understanding of plant operating principles and maintenance practices for oil and gas processing and well operations
  • Management and leadership skills in order to guide a team of multi-disciplined personnel including contractors.
