Cordial Staffing is a Nigerian staff training company that specializes in providing professional ushering services for various events; ranging from small private dinners to large weddings and corporate events. Our staff will be responsible for providing services of the highest quality which would leave clients satisfied and coming back for more.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Professional Usher
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Working with management to organize and manage events.
- Supporting and assisting event planners.
- Politely directing and escorting guests to their seats.
- Taking orders in large quantities swiftly and efficiently.
- Attending pre-event Usher meetings and other trainings as required by management
- Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of all venues.
- Good understanding of evacuation procedures form all points within each venue.
- Remain at assigned post throughout the event unless taking an assigned break.
Qualifications
- Age between 18 - 30
- Proficiency in English
- Minimum of OND for full time staff and currently enrolled in an educational institution for part time employment.
- Experience in catering and hotel management (not relevant but an additional benefit).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Credible staff who are passionate about what they do.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Quick learners and patience.
- A good eye for detail.
- Strong knowledge for proper food handling and high hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
