We are recruiting to fill the below position of:

Job Title: Junior Officer Loan Booking
Job ID: 10754

Job Purpose
  • To ensure accurate and timely booking and disbursement of all personal loans while ensuring compliance with all conditions as stipulated in the drawdown ticket. 
  • To ensure that customer service expectations are exceeded.
  • Ensure service delivery, meeting the needs of both existing and new business clients.
Key Accountabilities / KRA
  • Loading of approved limits as per pay away/loading limits are marked on the core banking platform
  • Ensure that all accounts set at level payment, interest payment and maturity satisfy all the required parameters, in the event of irregularities, escalate and ensure corrective action simultaneously.
  • Action all Loan Disbursement reports and escalate irregularities
  • Prompt booking of loans / update of customer’s credit information on the system when required (Provisions/Interest Rates/ extensions/Risk Grades etc).
  • Limitization of all overdrawn accounts as advised by Account Management.
  • Records of loans disbursed are to be properly housed and easy to retrieve.
  • Proactive dealing in all loan related issues/queries together with proffering applicable solution(s) in need.
  • Prompt loading of take-ups for Personal lending on PAS
  • Carry out system admin function on PAS (Personal Application Scoring) for PBB Personal Lending.
Key Dimensions
1.) Daily
  • Prompt Loading of  approved limits
  • Prompt booking of  Personal loans/UPL’s/Advances /Term loans/ etc
  • Prompt booking of  Off balance sheet items Bonds & Guarantees/LC Commitments’ etc
  • Timely attendance to loan related issues/queries i.e risk grade, class code, segmentation etc).
  • Prompt take-ups on PAS for Personal loans and UPL deals
  • Update of customer’s credit information on the system as approved (Interest Rates/ extensions/Risk Grades etc).
  • Filing of all drawdown tickets for ease of retrieval.
2.) Monthly
  • Load Provisions entries, Write-off, Risk Grades.
  • Classification/Reclassification of accounts
Required Skills and Qualifications
Educational Qualification
  • A minimum of First Degree in any related course
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years banking experience with relevant experience in Baking Operations.
Required Competencies
Knowledge.
  • Proficiency in the use of Finacle (current operating system).
  • Knowledge of internal processes as relates to credit.
  • Good use of MS office Tools (Word & Excel).
  • Knowledge of basic credit operations.
