The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos, a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following Senior Research and Administrative Positions.
Job Title: Director of Research (Clinical Sciences)
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess an MBBS degree and Fellowship of the National or West African Post-Graduate Medical Colleges or its equivalent in any of the clinical disciplines with least 15 years post fellowship experience. An MPH degree is an added advantage.
- The candidate must have had a minimum of four years work experience as a Deputy Director or a similar position (Research) on the job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment.
- There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research with at least Thirty (30) publications in peer reviewed journals. Evidence of administrative experience. competencies in computer application and ability/evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage.
Salary
CONMESS 07 STEP 1 (N 4,233,344.00 x N 113,207.00) per annum.
