Job Title: Programmes Producer
Location: Lagos and Ibadan
Responsibilities
- Creates and develops Radio programs and oversees the technical and organisational aspects of production
- Generates and research ideas for programs; write and develop scripts
- Selects music for a show and listens to recordings to edit them into stories or segments
- Production of jingles
- Usage of technologies such as Cool Edit Pro, Pro Tools, Adobe Audition for editing and production purposes
- Present live programs
- Manages the presenters' pre-recorded or live broadcast content
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
- A First Degree in Mass Communication, and other Social Sciences or related discipline from a reputable Institution
- Must be able to develop intuition to find compelling story ideas, get quality sound bites and and help to fuel each story
- Must be articulate and have the ability to create dynamic and original shows consistently with a sense of humour which appeals to the masses.
