The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos, a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following Senior Research and Administrative Positions.
Job Title: Director of Research (Molecular Biology and Biotechnology)
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Medical Microbiology/Cell Genetices/Biotechnology or Biochemistry OR
- MBBS degree plus registrable Post-Graduate Fellowship of the National or West African Medical College or its equivalent
- Must have put at least four years as a Deputy-Director Research or on equivalent job grade in a Research/Academic Establishment. An MPH degree is an added advantage.
- There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research with at least thirty (30) publications in peer reviewed journals.
- Evidence of Administration experience, competences in computer application and ability/evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advaotge.
Salary
CONHESS 15 STEP I/ CONMESS 07/1 (N4,233,344.00 x Nil 3,207.00) per annum.
