The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos, a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following Senior Research and Administrative Positions.
Job Title: Deputy- Director of Research (Public Health)
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Public Health or an MBBS degree plus a registrable post graduate fellowship of the National or West African postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent.
- Must have had a minimum of four years work experiences as a Chief Research Fellow (Public Health) or an equivalent job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment. An MPH with specialization in Epidemiology and Biostatistics or Reproductive Health is an added advantage.
- There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research and peer recognition with at least twenty (20) publications in peer reviewed journals.
- Evidence of Administrative experience and ability/evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage.
Salary
CONMESS 06 STEP 1/CONHESS 14 STEP 1 (N 3,430,218.00 x N 98,448.00) per annum.
