The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:
Job Title: Executive Secretary
Location: Abuja
Scope of Duty
The Executive Secretary shall:
- Be responsible for the day to day administrative running of the Secretariat under the guidance and directions of the Secretary General of the Association
- Be the head of administrative staff in the Secretariat and shall maintain discipline and ensure that every- member of staff carries out his/her duties in accordance with the terms of engagement.
- Carry out any external functions on behalf of the Association as may be directed by the Secretary General.
- Perform any other function as may be directed from time to time by the Secretary General of the Association.
Requirements
The Candidate Must Posses the Following Qualifications:
- A first degree in any field from a recognized University or Institution. A post graduate degree in the field of social sciences or humanities would bean added advantage.
- Successful completion of the Senior Executive Course and admission into the membership of the National Institute would bean added advantage.
- Proficiency in Computer Skills, particularly in MS Word, Database management and spreadsheet
- Previous administrative experience of which at least 10 years must beat senior administrative position. A working experience in similar organization would be an added advantage
- A good oral and written communication skills in English language
- A good interpersonal relationship and ability to market the Association.
Condition of Service
- The salary and other emoluments is negotiable.
