Job Title: Melting Supervisor
Ref: NMT/B/MS
Job Descriptions
- Responsible for melting and metal control through planning and writing of procedure for ferrous and non ferrous metal and alloys castings.
- Responsible for chemical and metallographic analysis of materials and suggestion for improvement when necessary
- Supervise charge preparation
Requirements
- BSc/ HND Metallurgical Sciences and Material Engineering with Minimum of 7 year experience or OND/ City & Guilds of London with minimum of 10 years experience in Foundry Practice or steel plant in the areas of melting shop
- Must have sound knowledge in melting process operation of induction furnaces, hot metal handling chemistry of metals, manpower handling and shop floor man agement etc
