Michael Stevens Consulting - Our client, is a group of companies that are manufacturers of a range of Carbonated drinks, Perfumes and Caps and other Pet Resin/Polymer products.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Group Project Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Define standards and execute tasks associated with managing projects.
- Prepare preliminary or approximate estimates for budgeting and feasibility studies for all projects.
- Plan and schedule the project by developing a project master schedule.
- Create a project dashboard outlining current/backlog projects with priority according to overall business objectives.
- Adapt plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in accordance with the stated project goals.
- Advise management on matters requiring attention and implement management decisions.
- Respond to enquiries and help resolve problems arising in projects.
- Preparation of project reports for management review and decisions.
- Create structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, time to market and budget constraints.
- Track deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
- Prince2 certification.
- An MBA is desirable.
- COREN certification; also desirable.
Experience:
- 5-8 years total working experience (3-5 years in similar job role in a manufacturing work environment; preferably beverages, rigid plastics or PET products).
- Experience working in several project sites.
Skills:
- Ability to track project deliverables using appropriate tools e.g. Gantt Chart.
- Organizational/Planning skills.
- Time Management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Attention to details.
