Job Title: Shop Floor Supervisor
Ref: NMT/W/SFH
Job Description
- Superviseproduction of quality fabrics from initial pattern through cutting, sewing and finishing
- Sew samples and ensure production teams follow all garment/leather construction details, monitoring product standards with key emphasis on quality
- Oversee workflow and work with methods to improve efficiency
- Report equipment breakdown, operating problems, assist with revising production schedules and priorities as well as perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and making minor repairs on sowing machines
- Ensure compliance to all company’s policies, safety Requirements and codes of conduct
Requirements
- First Degree/HND Fabrics / Leather Technology or related discipline with 8 years experience in similar capacity within garment / leather manufacturing environment.
- Must possess Excellent people Management Skills, able to read construction notes and demonstrate construction to sewing operators.
- Ability to operate several sewing machine/maintenance/limited repairs is compulsory
