Job Title: Proposals Engineer

Job Description
Specific Duties Include:
  • Responsible for reviewing client specifications and requirements to develop SGC sales proposals (including quotations, tenders, cost estimates, budgetary quotations, qualification documentation and technical descriptions)
  • Identifying sales opportunities for Petrofac and SGC Metering
  • Following through sales proposals to ensure that Petrofac are continually striving to meet clients’ expectations (such as client visits)
  • Ensuring that SGC have the required pre-qualifications checks, in order to effectively produce efficient bids and quotes
  • Continually promote SGC services by ensuring the website is up to date and that there is regular SGC presence at conferences and exhibitions
  • Ensuring that Salesforce CRM system is maintained with details of all prospects and enquiries
Requirements
  • The ideal Proposals Engineer will be educated to HND level in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in sales and key account management as well as with preparing technical and commercial proposals is essential. Knowledge of flow metering would be beneficial.
