Job Title: Reservoir Engineer/ Production Engineer

Job Summary and Purpose
  • To provide technical support to production operations in the assigned fields in OML by applying sound petroleum engineering knowledge, skills and best industry practices to maximize oil and gas production.
  • To contribute to the wells and facility production activities in the office/field.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily well performance, identify changing well conditions and provide recommendations to optimize production
  • Maintain up-to-date well models and provide recommendations for production improvement
  • Develop and maintain up to date records of wells pertinent data and performance history in areas of assignment
  • Lead the well surveillance process to identify and carry out production improvement opportunities on wells, facilities, and operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of first degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering as applicable
  • COREN, NSE or other relevant certifications
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in upstream oil & gas, preferably within a subsurface discipline, involved in development.and .production of Operated assets.
