Description
Investigators affiliated with the institute conduct mainly social and behavioural research on a range of topics in health and development. Research projects are usually exciting and innovative and make use of cutting-edge methods including randomized controlled trials. Studies are typically funded by external funders and include investigators based in overseas institutions
Responsibilities
- This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of research projects working closely with study investigators.
- He/she will he responsible for implementing study protocols and managing field staff as required.
- The position will involve a fair amount of travel.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a Master's Degree in Public Health, Economics, Demography, or other related field
- Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Have demonstrable experience managing and supervising teams
- Be exceptionally well organized, a good planner and detail-oriented
- Be a motivated self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
- Be able to speak Hausa
- Experience with Stata is a plus
