Job Summary and Purpose
- To provide leadership for all purchasing, warehouse, logistics and shipping activities in order to control costs while also improving efficiency and accuracy in the management of inventory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the implementation of supply chain strategy across the company
- Understand customers’ needs. service those needs, maintain and develop positive business relationships with customers involved in or directly relevant to supply chain activities
- Manage vendor relationships (e.g third party logistics, suppliers etc.)
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline
- Relevant professional qualification e.g. CSCP. ACIPS etc.
- Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with at least 4 years in a management position
