Job Title: Shiping Manager - South

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary and Purpose
  • This role provides strategic leadership and management of the marine business and its operations with the aim of achieving a sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee vessel and general marine/barging operations
  • Monitor the technical and operational performance of chartered fleets.
  • Manage all activities relating to Ship/Shore compatibility clearance with local and international regulations and best industry practices as well as those requirements as detailed in the charter parties.
  • Provide day to day logistics and operational support to marine operations and contractors.
  • Draw up an integrated activity plan - minimum of 7-day Integrated Activity plan.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of first degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 12 years work experience in similar role with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
