Job Summary and Purpose
- This role is responsible for discovering commercially viable and exploitable reserves of natural resources such as oil and gas
Responsibilities
- Interpret of 2D and 3D seismic data; including the application of advanced interpretation techniques such as Direct Hydrocarbon indicators. AVO, seismic inversion, pore pressure prediction
- Estimate oil reserves in proven or prospective fields, and liaise with Reservoir Engineer and Production Specialist concerning drilling and production issues and methods
Qualifications
- Minimum of first degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
