Job Title: Procurement Officer

Reports To: Procurement Manager
Function: Procurement & Supply Chain
Sub Function: N/A
Location: Lagos

Purpose Statement:

Ensure job carried out by contractors/ suppliers is negotiated, monitored and meets the standard and quality of the Aero brand.

Key Accountabilities
  • Liaise with suppliers to achieve on-time supply of goods and services.
  • Obtain specification of materials required from user department and prepare formal order.
  • Compare competitive quotations and ensure system analysis
  • Inspect and certify goods supplied to ensure conformity with specification
  • Initiate correspondences with suppliers/contractors and reply to same when necessary

  • Participate in contract negotiation
  • Support the Procurement Manager in the day to day running of the Procurement Department
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • This position requires a graduate with University Degree in Management, Business Administration, relevant technical or Social Science degree in a similar field. Copied from: hotnigerianjobs.com
  • Relevant industry certifications would be an added advantage.
  • 5 years work experience and minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills are very essential.
  • Must have a good knowledge of computerized stock control system and be commercial savvy.
