Job Title: Station Manager


Reports To: Airport Operations Manager
Function: Ground Operations
Sub Function: Sales/ Customer Service
Location: All Aero locations
Ref Code: ACN/GO/SM/0313

Purpose Statement:
To ensure that all aspects of the day-to-day airport operations run safely, smoothly and efficiently and deliver outstanding service to Aero passengers.

Key Accountabilities
  • Deliver service in line with Company objectives.
  • Ensure flight operations is performed safely, efficiently, punctually and in accordance with all relevant procedures and policies at all times, both in Passenger Services and on the ramp. Copied from: hotnigerianjobs.com
  • Continually monitor and manage all aspects of Operations within control or influence to maintain optimum balance between service, safety and cost efficiency.
  • Continually challenge standards, raising and revising them where possible.
  • Ensure Aero's service standards are class leading where possible and competitive as a minimum, providing appropriate feedback to Airport Operations Manager for future improvements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • This position requires a graduate with a first degree/HND or any related qualification relevant to aviation.

  • Ability to take quick and well informed decisions.
  • Good all round airline knowledge is required with at least 3 years experience in a similar airline position with proven track record in a supervisory role.
  • Willingness to work extra hours is desirable.
  • The ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with all levels of people and multilingual proficiency will be an added advantage.
