Job Title: Airport Operations Manager
Reports To: Head of Ground Operations

Purpose Statement:
To plan, manage and deliver the Aero Contractors airport Operations in order to ensure efficient day-to-day running of all airport operations in support of the airline. Support and manage the Airport Services’ team in the daily operations, plan long-term improvements andimplement global policies. Represent and protect the company interest within the Airport’s authority committees.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage day-to-day safe, efficient and punctual airport passenger processing - guaranteeing integrity and correct implementation of all relevant procedures.
- Ensure all customer relations matters / queries effectively dealt with or delegated.
- Implement continuous process improvement to ensure ongoing development
- Promote and plan internal customer service initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, contractors and agencies including; airport authority, handling agents, control authorities, other airlines and internal departments. Copied from: www.hotnigerianjobs.com
- Ensure correct level of contingency planning and guarantee a process of continuous improvement across all airport areas of security, safety and emergency procedures
- Manage airport budget inclusive of planning and ongoing management to drive cost efficiency throughout all airport operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

- Also required are good interpersonal skills and the ability to take quick and well informed decisions.
- Good all round airline industry knowledge, and at least 5 years experience in a Management role within the airline industry.
- Other requirements include detailed Operations management & planning experience, ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with all levels of people while multilingual proficiency will be an advantage.
