Responsibilities / Requirements
- Verify the consistency of the welding, material selection, NDT, coating, cathodic protection and corrosion engineering documents for the project
- Provides technical support to project in materials and testing management (welding, non-destructive testing, material, coating1 field joint coating, corrosion, insulation and cathodic protection)
- Specifies technology developments that can potentially impact project performance and proffers solutions based on new technologies.
- Interface with various disciplines in areas relating to materials technology to maximize project performance
Qualification and Experience
- A degree in Metallurgical/Materials/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in the Energy Sector. Prospective candidate should be an AWS/NACE 3 holder.
