We are currently recruiting for the Position of:
Job Title: Assistant Regulatory Manager
Location: Lagos
The successful candidate will be require to
- Contribute to the implementation, coordination and provision of regulatory support to the new products in Nigeria as well as efficiently manage product portfolio, information and documentation in a manner that is aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Maintenance of relevant databases.
Responsibilities:
- Registration of new products with relevant regulatory agencies viz: NAFDAC,SON.
- Renewal registration of existing products.
- Registration of product variations e.g. pack size extension, change of product name e.t.c.
- Compilation of product dossiers.
- Co-ordinate GMP inspections
- Interact and follow up with regulatory agencies and collaborate with internal and external customers.
- Assist with compliance and general functioning of the department.
- Support local and corporate business objectives by active team work and interaction with internal colleagues and external contacts.
Maintain product databases to ensure the information is always current.
Qualifications:
- A first degree in a science based discipline e.g. Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology
- 1-2 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs will be an added advantage
- Computer skills must include working knowledge of word, excel, power point and use of the internet.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships across departments and functions.
