Job Title: Medical Trainer (Male/Female)
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Contract: Fixedterm contract
Duration: 6 months

Tasks and Responsibilities
Under the management of the health program coordinator, you are responsible for overseeing the quality of the doctors and community health officers consultations and other medical activities as needed, through formal and onthejob training and supervision.
More specifically, your activities are:
- Identify needs, implement and supervise trainings for all healthcare staff, with a focus on doctors and community health officers (CHO)
- Work in close collaboration with other MdM trainers to implement trainings
- Coordinate with medical supervisor to conduct field activities
- Oversee the quality of the doctors and CHO activities
- Conduct trainings and follow up for community health volunteers on all aspects of health promotion
- Ensure direct care to patients when necessary
- Support the referral of medical cases under supervision of the medical supervisor
- Compile data for inclusion in medical reports
- Attend to external medical meetings upon request
Skills and Experience
- Medical doctor degree
- Relevant experience in training medical teams
- Experience in health promotion activities
- Experience in working with local authorities, partners
- Ability to work with multi-national team Reactivity, anticipation, adaptability
- Excellent organizational skills Good writing, computer and communication skills
- Capacity to work and to live in tense conditions
- Languages: fluent English is required
