The Group's interests include holdings in 12 subsidiaries, 14 associate companies, and other trade investments. The Group is currently transforming its business and investment portfolio for improved performance and returns to shareholders, and is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join its senior management team.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager - Property Development

Detailed Job Description
  • Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Real Estate business of the holding company.
  • The candidate will have the responsibility to implement a management structure for the Property Development Division that provides for the efficient management of existing properties, and the development of new ones to ensure that annual profit and return on asset targets are constantly achieved.
Requirements
  • First Degree in the Built Environment from a reputable institution (e.g. Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, etc.)
  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP or Prince2) will be an advantage
  • Minimum ten (10) years management experience in a construction environment, five (5) of which must be in a property development and real estate management organization
  • Experience managing a real estate and property development organisation with a portfolio including grade A properties in choice locations
  • Age: 40 - 50 years old.
