Job Title: Head of News / Current Affairs

Requirements
- Candidate for this position must have at least 15 years post-qualification experience in the management of news and current affairs for broadcast stations.
- In addition to having sharp eyes for news, candidate must possess proven experience in the management of newsrooms and in the grooming of news personnel.
- Any academic qualification below 2.1 or its equivalent will not be considered.
- It is demanded that all applicants must, as a general qualification, be skillful in the use of computer software / applications relating to their duties.
- Applicants without this qualification need not apply.
Qualifications
- Added to the above qualifications, candidate must have a Post-graduate Degree, particularly in Mass Communication or English Language and must be a consummate news hunter.
- Candidate must have attended, in addition to other certified training programmes, the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Journalism Courses at the FRCN Training School, Lagos or its equivalent.
- He must be able to report, write and present news and current affairs.
