Adexen Recruitment Agency is looking to recruit a GM Production and Operations. Our client is a leading global oil and gas exploration and production company.

Job description
Reporting to the DMD Operations, the GM Production and Operations will safely manage all Production and Maintenance Operations in line with business objectives fully adhering to HSE and corporate policies and regulatory requirements. He will also ensure that the company’s production targets / forecasts and liftings are safely achieved.


Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage Asset Integrity & HSSE Performance within production Operations. Ensure full adherence to the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies
  • Monthly monitor of production Key Performance Indicators (evaluate & optimise all onshore and offshore process performance)
  • Provide technical support / advice and solutions to onshore and offshore production advisors
  • Budget preparation and operation within prescribed budgetary controls
  • Ensure the production of oil and gas to safely meet set targets and specifications and set mitigation measures to correct if necessary
  • Develop maintenance programs such as Predictive and Preventive plans, maintenance strategies, Job plans and utilization plans

Qualifications and Experience
  • Candidate must be authorised to work in Nigeria
  • A degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline is essential with at least 20 years work experience.
  • At least 15 years experience in a senior supervisory level in Production and Maintenance operations. This includes offshore subsurface and surface facilities.
  • Excellent knowledge and in depth understanding of the latest Production planning and hydrocarbon accounting methodologies.
  • At least 10 years terminal and tanker scheduling operations experience.
  • Very good people management, interpersonal, communications and organizational skills are essential.
  • Good written/spoken English and PC literate.
