Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
- Perform engineering support functions for power plant operations, maintenance and implementation of plant changes and modifications.
- Design, inspect, startup and testing, and preparation of detailed fabrication/construction drawings and specifications, and equipment system evaluations
- Conduct evaluations and inspections of systems and mechanical equipment to ensure proper installation and functioning
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipments and systems
- Develop designs, specifications and solutions for mechanical equipment and system improvements
- Provide guidance for mechanical design, and review designs and specifications by other engineers
- Perform cycle analysis and develop modeling tools for system level performance
- Interface with internal sourcing and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met
- Inspect and evaluate vendor products to ensure conformance to design and specifications
- Create and manage technical design files
- Provide engineering support and oversight during construction and other activities as required
- Coordinate with other departments for successful project execution
- Gather data and conduct analysis to support engineering tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of a 1st degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience as Mechanical Engineer with experience in power plant operations and their various mechanical systems
- Ability to develop complete, accurate and detailed modification packages, specifications, and drawings
