Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of plant mechanical equipments and assist with plant operations as required.
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant mechanical equipment to support plant operations
- Support materials management and assist with budget planning and control within the functional area
- Identify equipment needs and assist in requisitioning parts and supplies
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures
- Maintain files and records on vendors, equipment maintenance etc
- Provide coordination support on critical repairs and projects
- Assist in plant operations and perform other duties as assigned
- Train other employees on maintenance skills
Requirements
- Minimum of a Mechanical Technician Certificate or its equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Mechanical Technician in a power plant or similar operation
- Experience in installation and maintenance of pumps, piping, large rotation equipment, chillers etc
- Familiarization with standard maintenance practices
