Job Title:Electrical Technician

Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical equipments and assists with plant operations as required.
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant electrical equipment to support plant operations
- Oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance
- Support materials management and assist with budget planning and control within the functional area
- Help develop and support CMMS
- Identify electrical installation requirements and assist in requisitioning parts and supplies
- Maintain files and records on vendors, equipment maintenance etc
- Provide coordination support on critical repairs and projects
- Assist in plant operations as required
- Train other employees on maintenance skills
Requirements
- Minimum of OND in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as an Electrical Technician in a power plant or similar operation
- Experience of HV, MV switchgears, substations maintenance and plant electrical equipment trouble shooting is required
- Familiarity with electrical relays and protection schemes and troubleshooting same
- Familiarity with standard maintenance practices
