Job Description
- We are looking to hire a Strategy Consultant with accounting background who is resourceful in solving critical strategic challenges in a dynamic environment where multitasking and time management are essential.
- Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working with numbers and be an analytical thinker.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and record financial transactions for project and company.
- Conducting research, surveys and interviews to gain understanding of the business and industry trends.
- Analysing statistics, detecting issues and investigating ways to resolve them, assessing the pros and cons of possible strategies.
- Compiling and presenting information orally, visually and in writing
- Making recommendations for improvement, using computer models to test them and presenting findings.
- Analyse financial performance and forecast longer term horizons.
- Recommend methods and strategies for cutting cost and maintain records to support auditing efforts.
- Participate in meetings with the company's management team to establish the requirements of projects, prepare a proposal, and carry out research analysis and assessment of growth scenarios and options.
- Advise company and/or department management on financial decisions.
- Make upper-level strategy recommendations based on financials.
- Comparing present and past statistics for financial improvement.
- Reduce the company’s liability and studying tax codes and ensure compliance with regional laws.
- Perform general accounting duties and document workflow, procedures, checklists, and policies for assigned tasks.
- Prepare journal entries and monthly general ledger account analysis and reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Accurately analyze and exercise sound judgment to effectively solve problems.
- Initiate decisive, timely action to address day-to-day issues and addresses obstacles, redirecting efforts to assure quality results.
Requirements
- The #1 requirement for the job is outstanding analytics.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or any business related field.
- Ability to anticipate impacts, assess outcomes and recommend solutions.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office; highly proficient in Excel.
