Job Description
  • This position provides overall HR generalist service and advice to employees in consultation with and approval from the Group Head, human resources in the following areas; attraction and recruitment, talent management, Exit Management, grievance & discipline, Internal communications, employee services, policy administration and interpretation.
Key Accountabilities
  • Implementation of attraction and recruitment activities which includes: recruitment & selection, on-boarding & Induction activities for new employees and employee confirmation activities.
  • Serve as custodian and enforcer of company policies while providing framework for disciplinary engagement.
  • Provides effective business partnering services to the various lines, ensuring clear and efficient business processes are operated and communicated to the line, as well as ensuring periodical review of defined service level targets.
  • Counsel employees on grievance issues, ensuring related activities are in line with HR policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Line Managers and business to identify, engage and retain talents within the organization.
  • Contribute to the headcount budget process of assigned departments to ensure optimal staffing and provide input on business unit restructuring.
  • Ensure implementation/review of an effective Performance Management System of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules where people's performance can be measured.
  • Periodic reporting (as and when required) to the Group Head, Human Resources/Admin.
Education and Experience
  • A first Degree preferably in Social, Human and or Behavioural Sciences or any related field.
  • MBA and other relevant HR Professional qualification CIPMN, CIPD, SHRM is desirable,
  • 4 - 6 years' work experience preferably in a multinational /O&G business environment comprising:
    • At least 4 years HR experience.
    • Experience in providing HR services and HR Administration.
