The Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) is a strategic intervention initiative of the Rivers State Government of Nigeria set up by law. The Agency has established the Workmanship & Technical Training Centre (WTTC) located in Bori, Rivers State.
WTTC is a world-class technical and vocational training centre pursuing accreditation from London City and Guilds and NABTEC Nigeria. It is designed to produce high quality intermediate/medium level technical manpower in different skill fields. The centre therefore requires the services of experienced and qualified manpower in core areas.

Job Position: Motor Vehicle Technician

Job Description
- To assist the Mechanical Instructor in safe working practices, to acquiring a Technical Certificate and or City & Guilds International Vocational Qualification up to a Level 3 Curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering quality Mechanical Engineering training programmes with objective of progressing the Trainees to the desired level of competence as set out in the UK International Vocational Qualification Scheme Shall expertly diagnose vehicle problems,
- Accurately prescribe correct repair actions and promptly deliver the required services.
- Ensure all consumables and associated materials stock are maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of Mechanical Engineering (Automobile /Motor vehicle), or any relevant professional certificate/ qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience in workshop practices out of which 3 years must be hands-on experience/knowledge of modern techniques and working practices of Motor vehicle engineering associated equipment/tools/devices on Trucks, Petrol/Diesel vehicle Engines.
