Currently, we retain the services of a robust mixture of local and internationally trained staff that provide excellent, client focused services. We provide psychological and counseling services, inpatient facilities/treatment, day hospital, rehabilitation, community care etc. We treat all forms of disorders related to your mental health. In addition, Synapse provides training programs designed for Health care professionals and the general public.

Job Position: Practice Manager
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Description
- A practice manager is a management professional in a field such as medicine who coordinates all functions of a private practice.
- As a practice manager, you would run the business side of a health Centre.
- You would be responsible for managing the practice's staff and budgets, developing its business strategy and making sure that everything runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Making sure the practice is running smoothly and successfully while also working to expand the business.
- Plan, coordinate, manage and supervise various elements of a medical facility
- Oversee billing and collections, design patient services or implement work policies for Clinical staff.
- Handle scheduling and daily patient flow
- Ensure that the daily day-to-day business is handled according to office and management policy
- Ensure patient safety and well being in terms of their diet, and hygiene.
- Counsel and provide patient with support as required in the absence of Nursing staff
- Maintain an effective and open communication with both Doctors and Clinicians for effective service delivery
- Ensuring data update and management are accurate
- Supervise drug dispensary and monthly stock record
- Ensure quality assurance of service to patients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree qualification in healthcare or Business Management
- 3 or more years of management experience in either a clinical or non-clinical setting.
- Strategic planning and business planning skills
- You would need to be an excellent organizer
- The ability to manage people and lead a team
- Excellent communication skills - Writing, oral and listening
- You would need accounting skills and budgeting awareness
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good computer skills
- Respect for confidential information.
- Innovative - Taking initiative to quickly resolve issues
- Ability to prioritize and work within timelines.
