This position is a local position and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria. We are seeking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Office Assistant - School of Law

Location: Yola, Adamawa
Department: School of Law

Summary
  • The Office Assistant contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations of the Dean’s Office and works closely with the Dean’s Office as the courier between the Dean’s Office and the faculty, and the wider university, and works flexibly in a developing office environment.
  • The position performs a wide variety of administrative support services, ranging from complex to routine, all of which contribute to the efficient and professional operation of the Dean’s Office.
  • Duties expected of the position include but are not limited to handling of a variety of projects and tasks simultaneously, assisting in the timely, accurate preparation and distribution of meetings agendas and special events.
Position Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of National Diploma (ND) or the equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 year experience in post secondary education administration required.
  • Experience in a professional setting.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office, database management experience required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both oral and written.
  • Capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency.
Other requirements, abilities for the position:
  • Must be detailed oriented, well organized and be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Data entry experience necessary.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, clients, customers, and the general public.
