Job Title: Specialist, Marketing and General Procurement
Location: Lagos, NG
Job Summary
Procure quality materials and services on time, efficiently and at competitive prices.
Principal Functions
- Receive end users purchase requests through Category Manager
- Check requests to make sure they contain all required details, drawings, specifications, shortlist bidders, etc
- Prepare RFX documents
- Check to ensure that shortlist bidders are registered with the company
- Float RFX
- Communicate clarifications requests between end user and vendor
- Receive offers from vendors
- Communicate with stakeholders to form a bid committee as applicable
- Document received bids
- Participate in bids evaluation process
- Invite vendors for negotiations
- Participate in negotiation sessions together with Category Manager
- Prepare bids evaluation report and ensure signatures of bid committee members are obtained
- Upload final offers and prices on ERP
- Prepare reports as requested by the Category Manager or Procurement Director .
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in a numerate discipline
- At least 4 years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience
- Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in use of ERP Applications such as iProcurement and MS Office applications in particular, Word and Excel
