Job Title: East & West Africa Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
Location: Nigeria
Job Objectives
- Responsible for the Finanical Planning & Analysis P/L across East and West Africa cluster in Africa and Middle East region. Heavily involve in business partnering.
Responsibilities
- Key member of Financial Planning & Analysis team, driving management reporting and providing insights into the financials of the business
- Support Financial Planning & Analysis leader in all areas
- Assist in driving the company profitability and growth by analyzing revenues and costs as well as new initiatives
- Drive improvements in reporting and forecasting process to achieve operational excellence
- Able to deal with multiple stakeholders across all management levels in multiple countries
- Preparation and financial planning as part of budget and forecast
- Performing management reporting and analysis as needed by Emerging Group management team
- Part of defining and follow up of KPIs to reach agreed targets

Networks
Internal:
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners and Client Service leadership and commercial teams
- Link in with Consolidation teams on closing schedule, accounting services, and consolidated accounts, with focus on numbers making sense
- Work with Group Controller on compliance and governance
- Partner with Operational Controller and team (closing cut-off dates, journals, supporting documentation )
- Legal/Contracts Administration locally (if applicable)
- Internal & External Audits
External:
- Shared Service Centre
- External Auditors or Consultants
Business Impact
- A successful Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will be commercially focused and detailed oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to identify and strengthen areas of business risks whilst making the most of opportunities.
- He/She will help in forecasting the right numbers and achieveing the numbers.
