Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) seeks to engage class teachers for immediate Fixed-Term Employment for an initial 5-year period with possible renewal, for these positions:

1.) Montessori Trained Nursery Teacher

The Job:
 The appointee will be required to create and teach 3 and 4 year old pupils in a conducive learning environment.

2.) Physical Education Teacher

The Job:
The appointee will be required to teach physical education as well as assist in coordinating sporting activities in the school.

3.) Mathematics Class Teacher

The Job:
The appointee will be required to teach mathematics based on Nigerian curriculum and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

4.) English Class Teacher

The Job:
The appointee will be required to teach English Language based on Nigerian Curriculum and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

5.) Information Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher

The appointee will be required to teach ICT across streams and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

6.) Home Economics Teacher

The appointee will be required to teach Home Economics based on the Nigerian curriculum and create a conducive learning environment the classroom.

7.) Islamic Religious Knowledge Teacher

The Job:
The appointee will be required to teach Islamic Religion based on the Nigerian curriculum and create a conducive learning environment within the classroom.

8.) Swimming Instructor

The Job:
The appointee will be required to practically teach swimming and create a safe and conducive learning environment during lessons.

9.) Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher

The Job:
 The appointee will be required to provide support for Special Education Needs (SEN) children as well as teach English as an Additional Language (EAL) to children of Dutch and International streams.


The Duties for Class Teachers:
The duties for the Class Teachers will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Prepare class work and teach pupils all assigned subjects.
  • Inculcate sound moral character in the pupils.
  • Prepare, issue and discuss pupils report with their parents.

The Person:
The right candidate for the above mentioned class teacher positions should:
  • Possess in the relevant fields either a Bachelors degree In Education (2nd Class Upper Division and above), or a B.Sc/BA (2nd Class Upper Division and above) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education or a B.Sc/BA (2nd Class Upper Division and above) with an NCE.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the required field.
  • Possess supervisory, coaching arid class management skills.
  • Not more than 40 years old.
  • Possess swimming skills as an added advantage (for the Physical Education Teacher only).
  • Possess either a HUET Diver Certificate or a BOSSIET Certificate (for the Swimming Instructor only).
