Total Nigeria Plc - The attention of Total has been drawn to certain text messages sent to awardees of the NNPC/Total Joint Venture and National Merit Scholarship schemes, requesting awardees of the Scholarship schemes to pay certain sums of money to “CSR-Education Team for verification, confirmation and/or authentication of their scholarships.
These messages are false and do not emanate from Total or any of its officers, They are the handiwork of FRAUDSTERS, designed to exploit and defraud unsuspecting scholarship beneficiaries.
This is to notify all our awardees and the general public that our company’s scholarships are essential elements of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes. Such services are by their nature, provided at no cost whatsoever to our awardees.
Awardees are strongly advised to verify any information not contained in their award letters issued by Total, through the already established channels or via email to:
