Description
- You will maintain the fitness/aerobics areas during class times to provide a relatively safe, effective, and motivating environment for physical activity.
- Assess continually the participants and their ability level.
- Explain and demonstrate principles, techniques, and methods of regulating movement of body, hands, or feet to achieve proficiency in activity.
- Explain and demonstrate use of apparatus and equipment.
- Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations. Set up facility for any activity that is needed for assigned fitness class.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Health and fitness
- Experience in a Gym/Health club environment
- Able to carry and lift items up to 50 pounds and frequently stand up and move about the facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be well groomed and pleasant
- Good understanding of the Hotel Industry standards, policies and procedures
- Pre opening experience a strong plus
- Service minded and ability to involve and support operations.
