Job Position: Credit Supervisor

Responsibilities
- You will review all billing request to determine eligibility, approve or disapprove credit applications as needed, ensuring adherence to InterContinental credit policy.
- You will implement and maintain all credit policies and procedures, reconcile accounts with payment problems, prepare and analyse monthly credit report and other necessary reports, review daily accounts, guest ledger or potential credit issues as needed.
- You will also conduct monthly credit meeting, explaining past due accounts and outlining plans for collection. Review A/R aging for accuracy and correct postings and develop and implement financial control procedures and systems.
- You will manage the credit granted by the hotel, ensuring a positive cash flow by collecting debt in an effective, professional manner that will reflect the Intercontinental culture.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Accounting or its equivalent
- At least 3 years credit management experience in a similar position in hotels of international brand
- Good understanding of the Nigeria/African business and markets environment
- Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of results achieved, creativity and the implementation of new practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written & oral proficiency in English)
- Service minded and ability to involve and support operations
- Business savvy and good people skills.
