Job Title: College Librarian
Location: Gusau, Zamfara
Job Description
- The College Librarian is a statutory position on tenure appointment for 5 years in the first instance which may be renewed for another 5 years term.
Duties
- The College Librarian shall be responsible to the Provost for the Administration of the College Library and coordination of Library services in the teaching units of the institution.
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates must possess Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS) from a recognized institution of Higher learning with at least 18 years cognate experience.
- Possession of Ph.D will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must produce relevant publication in journals and textbooks equivalent to that of a chief lecturer plus evidence of registration with professional body(ies).
