The first independent power project in Nigeria with a capacity of 300 MW from 9 Units of GE Frame 6B, Barge mounted, open cycle, Gas Fired Turbine has vacancies for the following positions:
1.) Control & Instrumentation Technician
2.) Electrical Technician
Report to: O&M Engineer
Job Description
- Executes assigned job task in accordance with AES HSE Policy during combustion inspections, hot gas path inspection
- Records and submits instrument calibration test results to the Senior C&I Technician for review
- Perform housekeeping alter lob completions
- Adheres to total safety requirement of the plant and submission of near miss
- Perform field instrument installation and troubling shooting
- Performs refurbishment and calibration of removed field instrument
Required Qualification
- The intended candidate must possess a degree or its equivalent from any of University or Polytechnic and with 5 years working experience in the power and other power related outfit.
