Job description
  • The Assets and Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for supervising the entire assets and equipments of the company in order to ensure they are in the best working conditions and also oversee the movement of the assets in and out of location to locations where they will be needed.
  • The position reports to the Logistics Manager.
  • The position is based in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:
  • Interfaces with Logistics team in other locations to follow up on movements
  • Updates business systems to indicate statuses
  • Provides reports and statuses to all concerned
  • Equipment inventory, fixed asset list reconciliation, fixed Asset transfers
  • Benchmarking of all operations against available assets/resources and implementation of best asset management practices
  • Handle basic budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Tracking maintenance (Preventive and Corrective)

Qualifications and Experience
  • Must have a B.Sc in Engineering, Administration, Supply Chain or related fields.
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas environment.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have excellent communication & negotiation skills at all levels and demonstrate a high level of initiative
