Job description
- The desired candidate will be accountable and responsible for the sales as well as become consultants to customers in generators issues, managing stocks and liaising with manufacturers. He/She will be responsible to develop and support specialised indirect sales channels to grow the power pillar.
- We will also be looking out for someone with technical knowledge i.e. he should have knowledge about generators
- This position is based in Abuja- Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- To promote “Predictable Power” core values to customer by undertaking product presentation
- To enhance distributor competence development by continuous training and development
- To interact actively with customers so as to become their consultant in Generators issues.
- To follow-up existing customer showing high degree of commitment and professionalism
- To find & develop new potential customers
- To set and maintain a clear activity agenda
- To undertake proposals, including the calculation of sales price to achieve sales
- To protect and promote Company price positioning and premium by adopting
- To report, using sales tools and databases, activities and information collected in the market (customers, competitors, actions in progress…)
- To develop and support specialized indirect sales channels to grow the Power Pillar
- To develop prospective customers for necessary direct sales revenue
- To follow up all sales relevant steps (proposal, contract, order, invoice and payment)
- To monitor movements and performance of competition and deepen understanding of competitive landscape in assigned territory
- To build rapport with local service team and increase customer satisfaction
- To strictly follow the Business Code of Practice in all activities
Qualifications and Experience
- 1st degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Master’s Degree or an MBA would be an advantage.
- 3 years cognate work experience within a technical sales environment
- Driver licence and good road experience
- Oral & Written Communication
