RTI is recruiting for the following position:

Job Position: Finance Officer

Location: Abuja, NG
Report to: NPP Advisor

Description
  • The Finance Officer will work closely with the RPA and will manage all ENVISION program activities in finance and logistics/coordination in-country.
  • He/She will also be expected to support IT, logistics, and general administration in the project and ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement and RTI financial procedures.
  • He/she is responsible for quality control, financial reporting and monitoring.
  • The Finance Officer is also responsible for ensuring appropriate systems and procedures (payroll, cash management, vendor payments, budgeting and other related to financial management) are in place to properly disburse, account, budget and report project funds which are cost effective, timely, have proper internal controls and comply with the terms of the agreement.
  • The position will be full-time, based in Abu]a and report to the Nigeria Resident Program Advisor.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in business/accounting or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management of U.S. Government-funded programs.
  • Additional professional training in accounting/business management preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, specifically QuickBooks, is required.
  • Experience in grants management and administration preferred.
