Job Title: Engineer Base Station Subsystem
Location: Abuja,NG
Job Summary
Support BTS site implementation and rollout activities in assigned region
Principal Functions
- Ensure end-to-end deployment of target BSS sites
- Conduct technical site surveys of new and existing BSS sites in line with the deployment process
- Conduct acceptance testing of BSS site activities
- Ensure that all Safety Health and Environment (SHE) requirements are adhered to by contractors and vendors
- Co-ordinate all assigned BSS site construction activities from start-up to commissioning/ acceptance
- Supervise installation teams in conducting feeder and antenna live verification tests (VSWR, DTF)
- Deliver continuous progress reports on all assigned network site rollout activities for the attention of the Manager-Regional Rollout
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager-Regional Rollout
Educational Requirements
- First degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- Relevant professional qualifications/ certifications will provide an advantage
Experience,Skills & Competencies
- At least two (2) years' directly relevant post-NYSC work experience
- Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good time management skills
- Good reporting and documentation skills
