By utilizing skills, knowledge and resources, she is able to create sustainable change for herself, her family, and community.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Volunteer

Location: Plateau
Time: Flexible and subject to agreement with the supervisor

Purpose
  • The volunteer will be responsible for writing letters for women participants in the program to their sponsors.
Responsibilities
Letter Writing:
  • Deliver letters and translate to recipients.
  • Assist participants with letter writing
  • Inform women of new sponsors
  • Other duties related to letter writing
Qualifications
  • At least a Diploma; additional post-secondary studies an advantage.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
  • Good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Good inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Good report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with participants and team members
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Email applications.
  • High level of fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing) and fluency in Hausa language
