By utilizing skills, knowledge and resources, she is able to create sustainable change for herself, her family, and community.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Volunteer
Location: Plateau
Time: Flexible and subject to agreement with the supervisor
Purpose
- The volunteer will be responsible for writing letters for women participants in the program to their sponsors.
Responsibilities
Letter Writing:
- Deliver letters and translate to recipients.
- Assist participants with letter writing
- Inform women of new sponsors
- Other duties related to letter writing
Qualifications
- At least a Diploma; additional post-secondary studies an advantage.
- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
- Good administrative and organizational skills.
- Good inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Good report writing and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with participants and team members
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Email applications.
- High level of fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing) and fluency in Hausa language
